The Gardena Business Advisory Council (G-BAC) is pleased to present the Outstanding Business Award for January – June 2011 to Sam’s Club # 6617 of Gardena.

Sam’s Club of Gardena located at 1399 Artesia Blvd, has shown its commitment to the community of Gardena since it first opened in 1994. Over the last 17 years, Sam’s Club has supported the Gardena community by providing jobs, hiring several employees through the Gardena One-Stop Employment and Business Center and offering small business loans to local businesses. Sam’s Club has also sponsored numerous events such as the Relay for Life, and supported local organizations such as the YMCA, the Gardena Valley Chamber of Commerce, and raised funds for national charities such as the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the Salvation Army It is currently pursuing a renovation project for a 6,400-square-foot expansion onto the existing Sam’s Club store.

Under the direction of its management team Sam’s Club has earned a solid reputation for reliability and excellence.
